A director at Crowell and Moring International, Andrew Blasi Jr. began to collaborate with governments and stakeholders around the globe at a young age. Working as senior advisor to Scott Foster, Andrew Blasi Jr. played an important role in the first college student being elected to the Williamsburg City Council in the College of William and Mary’s 300-year history. He provided critical support in Foster’s landslide, well-publicized win in Virginia through outreach with students organizations and neighborhood councils as well as designing Mr. Foster's "Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) strategy. Foster received nearly twice as many votes as the second place finisher, who was also elected to City Council in a field of five candidates. During his time in College, Mr. Blasi worked with Congressman E. Clay Shaw, the Congressional Liaison Office of the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, among other groups.
In 2008, Andrew Blasi Jr. went on to serve as Pamela Harriman Foreign Service Fellow with the Honorable Robert Tuttle, Ambassador of the United States to the Court of St James's at the U.S. Embassy in London. He joined Crowell and Moring International in 2010. In addition to his responsibilities as an advisor on international policy and regulatory affairs, Mr. Blasi serves on the board of trustees at Florida House on Capitol Hill and the Pamela Harriman Foreign Service Fellowship advisory board.
